elcome to the 4th annual Best of the West!

All you have to do is vote. It's easy:

1. Fill out the voter registration on this page. We only use the information to help track votes and keep it fair.

2. Pick a category and start typing your pick. If it's already been nominated, autocomplete will take care of it!

3. If autocomplete isn't taking over, your pick hasn't been nominated for that category yet — just type it in and we'll approve it!

4. You have to vote in 15 categories across the whole survey for your votes to count, because we truly believe you like at least 15 things.

5. Keep it local! Even if Wendy's did have the best chili in West Michigan (spoiler alert: it doesn't), that's not what this poll is about.

6. One ballot per person!

7. If you try to cheat, we will catch you, and we will tell your mom. That's a promise.

8. That being said, feel free to tell everyone you know to vote for you, your business or your favorite things! If they share your passion, they'll join in. The more people vote, the more this all means — especially since there's no electoral college.

And that's it! Voting runs until June 14, so get to it.

How it works

Here's what you need to know:
  1. Start typing in your choice. If your choice doesn't appear, simply type it in and it will be added to the ballot.

  2. Keep it local!

  3. You have to vote in at least 15 categories across the entire survey for your votes to count.

  4. If you "submit" your votes in a larger group (i.e. Dining, Drinking, etc.), you won't be able to go back and change your votes.

That's all. You have until June 14.
